Since 2012, Andy Schroeder has served as president of South Central Steel (SCS), Inc., in Harpersville, Alabama. When not in his SCS office, Andy Schroeder enjoys golfing and belongs to the Greystone Golf & Country Club.

Founded in 1991 in Birmingham, Alabama, the Greystone Golf & Country Club began with 150 charter members. The family-oriented private club offers first-class amenities and exceptional service. Members can enjoy a round of golf, a massage, swimming, and tennis. Over the years, the club has hosted the SEC Women’s Golf Championship and the Regions Charity Classic, which Sports Illustrated named the best run tournament of the Champions Tour.

Each year, Greystone offers more than 20 golf tournaments for members, with events beginning in either March or April and running through November. One of the last events of the year is its Pigskin Classic, with the 2017 event occurring on November 3 with a shotgun start at noon. Participants enjoyed tailgating, lunch, and golf, and players were encouraged to wear their favorite team’s apparel.

The 2018 Pigskin Classic is scheduled for November 2.
